Private beta — onboarding data teams now

Why NerveStax exists

Small data teams inherit platforms they didn’t build. Most of the week goes on keeping them running, and it is hard to say what a change will break until it breaks. We build agents that take on that work, on the stack you already have, with a person approving every change.

The answers are usually already there. Reading them is work an agent can do — deciding is not.

Where the week goes

A model changes and something downstream breaks days later. An alert fires at 3am, and the first forty minutes go on working out whether it matters. The person who set up the schedules has left.

We have run platforms like this: dbt, Airflow, a warehouse everything depends on. The answers sit spread across a repository, a scheduler and old run logs.

Keeping it running New work The 3am alert

Illustrative — not a survey. The neutral blocks are the work of keeping a platform up: fixing a failed run, tracing what broke, answering “is this number right?”, rerunning a backfill.

What we hold to

  1. It runs on your stack

It connects to the dbt, Airflow, warehouse and git host you already run. Nothing to migrate.

  2. Every change is reviewed

Agents open pull requests and cannot merge them. A person approves before anything reaches production.

  3. On-call fails safe

Triage is read-only. If the agent is unsure, times out or fails, the alert is escalated anyway.

  4. Your repo, your keys

Changes are ordinary code in your repository, on your own model provider key, hosted or self-hosted.

  5. We say what isn’t built

Ingestion is in beta, MySQL and PostgreSQL only. There is no column-level lineage yet.

One set of agents works across the whole lifecycle. See what we connect to.

How we work with the teams in it

Onboarding
A small number of teams at a time.

Your real project, not a demo.
What ships next
We answer every email, and what we hear there decides it.
