NerveStax is for teams running dbt and Airflow on Snowflake, Trino, DuckDB/MotherDuck, Postgres or ClickHouse. It does not support Databricks as a warehouse.

Each change is built and tested against a development target in an isolated sandbox, then opened as a pull request in GitHub or GitLab with results and reasoning. Airflow changes can run through a verification DAG in your own Airflow.
Databricks
In agent mode Genie Code shows diffs and asks before it uses tools, with options to allow once, per thread or always. It can update Declarative Automation Bundles, validate them and deploy to your targets.

On-call beyond one platform
NerveStax
NerveStax investigates every alert from dbt, Airflow or any webhook with read-only access, closes noise with a written reason and pages real incidents with the likely cause. If triage is unsure or fails, the alert is escalated anyway.
Databricks
Genie ZeroOps monitors jobs, pipelines, tables and ML workloads, traces failures through Unity Catalog lineage and proposes fixes validated in a sandbox for approval. It is entering private preview and covers Databricks assets.

In fairness
Where Databricks is the better choice.
For a Databricks team, Genie Code is already in the workspace and grounded in Unity Catalog metadata, lineage and permissions. NerveStax does not support Databricks at all.
Lakeflow covers more of the lifecycle in one platform: more than 100 managed ingestion connectors, pipelines, jobs, and Lakeflow Designer for people who don't write code.
Genie Code also covers notebooks, ML workflows with MLflow, and AI/BI dashboards, which NerveStax does not touch.
Using both
The two rarely overlap. A company with a Databricks lakehouse and a separate dbt and Airflow platform on another warehouse could use Genie Code in Databricks and NerveStax for the dbt and Airflow side.
